 I am originally from South Bend, Indiana. I started as a Cadet with the German Township Fire Department and was eventually promoted to Lieutenant / Training Officer.

In 2006 our department consolidated services with the Clay Fire Territory at which time I became a "shift" firefighter. I also managed the Clay Fire Territory recruit academy in conjunction with the Division Chief of Training.

In 2008 I was offered and accepted the Fire Chief position in Eagle, Wisconsin. I am currently in my fourth year of the Executive Fire Officer program at the National Fire Academy.
