Fire Service

The primary job of the Eagle Fire Department is to protect life and preserve property.

In addition to providing fire suppression and search and rescue at commercial or residential fire scenes, wild land fires, or at Motor Vehicle Fires, EFD also provides:

  • Search and rescue in parks,
  • Search and rescue in collapsed buildings,
  • Ice and water rescue,
  • Vehicle extraction,
  • Respond to carbon monoxide alarms,
  • Provide support to our EMS team,
  • And much more...

 

Typical Fire Scene Services include:

  • Fire attack: Ventilating the structure, Search and Rescue, Suppressing the Fire.
  • Salvage: All efforts are made to reduce damage to property including fire and water damage.
  • Overhaul: Search for fire extension or "Hot Spots". This may involve opening walls, floors and ceilings to look for small hidden fires that can re-ignite.
